The culture shock continues on ‘Top Travel’ as hosts Jeannie and Janez set off to Agra, India. They’ll join a pick up cricket game with the locals before learning the art of inlaid marble on their way to the Taj Mahal.
We’re off to the Himalayas on this episode of ‘Top Travel.’ Hosts Jeannie and Janez will seek spiritual enlightenment at the Ganges River – and then find peace through movement in the birthplace of yoga.

A lone Jeanie visits Nice, the tranquil capital of the Riviera where she pampers herself with a chic hotel stay and plenty of sunbathing. Meanwhile, Janez flies home to South Africa for a photoshoot.
The travelers make their way to Aubusson and enjoy a luxury retreat at Chateu Sallandrouze and learn the ways of tapestry weaving. They also visit an ancient castle and a partake in a serene wine and cheese picnic in the heart of the countryside.
The twosome indulge in a private cruise through the Canal du Midi onboard a luxury barge where they take in the scenic countryside and savor fine foods. They ride bikes to a fortified city and browse an ancient bookstore.
Jeanie and Janez head to the French-owned island of Mauritius off the coast of southeast Africa for some sand, surf, and sun. Janez water skis and kite surfs while Jeanie attempts to cook her first meal.
The Top Travel hosts are back in their homeland of South Africa where they whale watch and wine taste in the rolling hills of Hermanus before heading to the semi-arid tundra of Sanbona to ‘rough it’ in a luxury game and wildlife reserve.
Jeanie and Janez cap off their six month journey in their hometown of Cape Town. They tour the legendary wine country of Paarl and repel down Table Mountain before meeting at a beachfront cafe to reminisce about their epic adventure.
Season Three
Janez journeys to the island of Murano to gain insight into the age-old technique of glass-blowing. Meanwhile, Jeannie travels to Burano and learns about the intricate art of Venetian lace-work and its journey from generation to generation.
As Jeannie leaves back to South Africa, Janez boards the Costa Fortuna, a seventeen story luxury cruise ship, and experiences the life Scandinavian.
Janez races against the clock to bring you the best of two European countries in one episode! As the Costa Fortuna docks in Estonia, Janez only has four hours to explore the capital city Tallinn. Next, Janez ventures into Russia.
Janez and Jeannie are reunited in Barcelona where they explore the breathtaking structures of Antoni Gaudi. They also try out the extreme water-sport of flyboarding, which uses jet-ski propulsion to launch them above the waters of the ocean.
This week, Janez and Jeannie continue on their voyage aboard the Liberty of the Seas and introduce us to two contrasting views of the Mediterranean: the lavish excess of Monaco and the subtle simplicities of the Cinque Terre’s wine culture.
Jeannie and Janez have one day to experience as much of Rome as possible, so they grab a few Fiat 500s and dart around the city. The Colosseum inspires Janez, so Jeannie puts him to the test at the Roman Gladiator School.
After meeting a romantic ceramist in Salerno, they step upon the Giardino della Minerva – the oldest botanical garden in Europe. They ascend the steep cliffs of Santorini on donkey-back and indulge in the volcanic isle’s rustic cuisine.
It’s a delight to be in Turkey, as Jeannie and Janez port in Kusadasi and investigate the labour-intensive art of carpet-weaving. They sprint along the shore on the back of magnificent stallions, or ponies – depending on your frame of reference.
Jeannie and Janez are back in glorious Athens at the magnificent Acropolis, built in honor of the goddess Athena. Jeannie gets in touch with her inner Greek goddessin a Byzantine jewelry shop.
On the final leg of their Mediterranean Cruise, their first port of call is the quaint Italian town of Ravenna, which was once the center of the Roman Empire. Janez discovers he has a secret eye for mosaics!
We start our sub-saharan African journey in our own backyard: South-Africa. Cruising up Route 62 in an Aston Martin, stopping over at famous shops and crocodile cage diving in Oudtshoorn, see just how lively and dynamic South Africa is.
Top Travel Jeannie and Janez take a long journey to Orania, one of South-Africa’s most talked about towns. Having also been visited by Nelson Mandela himself, Janez and Jeannie take it upon themselves to find their own meaning in Orania.
Soweto is one of most vibrant creative and cultural artistic hubs in South Africa and it was a must visit our Jeannie and Janez’s journey. Their next stop is the luxurious Madikwe Hills Private Game Lodge, set in the spectacular Madikwe Game Reserve.
Season Four
From the breathtaking Devil’s Pool on the the edge of Victoria Falls to zip lining across a 425m gorge there is never a dull moment when these two are around. Then to the Chobe River for a luxurious cruz on the Zambezi Queen.
Jeannie and Janez head off the beaten track to explore the beauty of the Kalahari Desert. From learning to adapt to the intense heat to discovering the secrets of Baobab trees celebrate the beauty and intense quietness of the open plains in Africa.
Jeannie and Janez trip through the Serengeti National Park where they are lucky enough to catch the migration! Janez is treated to one of his bucket list experiences, a sunrise hot air ballon ride over the Ngorongoro Crater
Janez takes on Africa’s highest peak! Join him as he braves the elements and attempts his biggest challenge to date.
The conclusion to Janez’s dangerous yet exciting journey atop Mount Kilimanjaro. Plus, Jeannie is headed to the rich villages of Zanzibar for a lesson in their culture and culinary arts.

With great waves and beautiful snorkeling spots, shopping adventures, and palace like resorts, Janez and Jeannie are in heaven and can hardly believe that this piece of paradise exists.
